Pretty Indie Policies
Please read the following policies and information very carefully. These policies are in place to protect you and your safety as well as the service provider and her time. By booking a service you agree to abide by the following policies.
Payment
Clients are required to leave a credit card on file to reserve appointments. The Pretty Indie reserves the right to use this card as payment in the event of a cancellation or a no-show. The card on file must be in the name of the person receiving the service except in the case of minors. Payment is due at the time your service is rendered and can be rendered via card, cash, cash app, or apple pay.
Arrival
Please arrive with clean/makeup free eyes and lashes. This includes undereye concealer. Understand that your lash extensions will fall off faster if you do not arrive with completely clean lashes because lash extensions do not stick to eyeliner or mascara residue. A lash bath is complementary if it is needed, but makeup removal is not part of the lash extension service. A $10 makeup removal fee will be incurred if your makeup has to be manually removed by the service provider.
You are permitted to arrive up to 20 minutes late for your appointment, however, your appointment time will not be extended and you will still be charged the full amount of the service. If you have not arrived by 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged half the price of your service as a cancellation fee.*
Extra guests are not permitted for any reason. If you arrive with an extra guest (children included), you will be asked to reschedule and be charged half the price of your service as a cancellation fee.
If you wear contacts please remove them prior to your appointment for your own comfort and safety.
rescheduling and cancellations
You are welcome to reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Failure to give less than a 24 hour notice for a cancellation or reschedule will result in you being charged half the price of your service as a cancellation fee.
Refunds
No guarantees are made on services and all treatments are assumed at your own risk. No refunds will be given for any reason as you are paying for artist time and the cost of product used. If you are unhappy with a service, you have 48 hours from the time of your appointment to contact us and discuss your concerns. If your issue is one that can be corrected, we will be happy to do so in a 45 minute complementary touch up. We refuse to address concerns voiced after 48 hours or found to be the result of improper aftercare.
Aftercare, fills, and removals
Proper aftercare is vital for the health of your natural lashes and for the longevity of your eyelash extensions. Please see our aftercare page for more detailed information on aftercare. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who consistently shows signs of improper aftercare or poor hygiene.
Fills must be scheduled every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness. In order for your appointment to be considered a fill, you must retain at least 40% of your previous set. If you arrive to a fill with less than 40% of your previous extensions I will have no other choice than to do what I can with the amount of time you've booked. This means you will be leaving with less than a full set and your lashes will look thinner much quicker. I cannot do a full set in a fill time slot or for a fill price. I refuse to stress myself out playing catch up on your lashes. If you need a full set, book a full set! Clients who consistently show up to fills with less than 40% of their extensions will be denied further fills until they receive a new full set.
If you require a removal for any reason other than an allergic reaction (which is rare), you will need to book a removal service. If you believe you are experiencing an allergic reaction please contact us immediately!
After Hours
Our normal business hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Friday. If you wish to book a service outside of business hours we can usually accommodate you, but there will be a $20 afterhours fee applied to your service.
Other artist's work
We take each request for foreign fills on a case by case basis. If the previous work is clean and easily manipulated we are happy to work over it, but if the work has been poorly executed (not properly isolated, heavy amounts of glue, etc.) a removal and full set will be necessary. This determination can only be made in person so it is important to be prepared for either possibility at your appointment.
*Everyone gets one. We allow one fee-free last minute cancellation in the event of an emergency/act of God/life-just-happened moment as a courtesy to regularly loyal clients. After this one time allowance is used the regular cancellation policy will be in full effect.
